九皇法會 2009

九皇法會設斗的含義：
· 九月初一至初九乃北斗九皇星君下降之辰，而初九亦是圓明斗母元君（眾星之母）聖誕之日。
· 禮拜北斗是朝拜自己本命星以達到延生消災、祛病解厄的目的。
· 斗代表北斗星，白米代表宇宙間的眾星，燈代表您的本命星，
秤代表青龍，尺代表白虎，剪刀代表朱雀，鏡子代表玄武。
· 設斗代表您的本命星豎立於眾星中，象徵在宇宙星空中，讓四靈（四獸）護佑着您的本命星宮，讓您前程光明、平安、順利。
· 凡今年生肖沖犯太歲（生肖屬牛、龍、羊、狗）者，疾病纏身或運程不順者，更要趁此機會設斗祈福！祈求星君庇佑，星光燦爛普照，消災解厄，袪病延壽，事業順利，生意興隆，萬事吉祥興旺。

SIGNIFICANCE OF FESTIVAL OF NINE EMPEROR
(JIU HUANG FA HUI) ：
· The first to the ninth day of the nine lunar month is a time when the North Dipper Deities descend to the mortal world. The ninth day of the nine lunar month is also the feast day of the Dou Mu, Mother Deity of the North Dipper Constellation
· Taoist believes that the North Dipper Constellation oversees a person’s fate, blessings and even lifespan.
· The purpose of the North Dipper worship (Li Dou) is seeking longevity, curing illnesses, dispelling disasters, averting misfortune as well as confessing our sins.
· A dipper shaped container is filled with rice and five symbolic items namely: The container (represents the North Dipper), Rice (stars in the universe), Oil lamp (individual star) , Weighing scale (Green Dragon) , Ruler (White Tiger), Scissor (Red Divine Bird) and Mirror (Snake-Turtle Divine).
· Lamp of Blessing (Dou Deng) symbolizes one’s individual star being protected by the four Divine Creatures. This is to seek Deities blessing, longevity, good health, and may one’s life shine bright and full of radiance.
· If you belong to the Chinese zodiac signs - Ox, Dragon, Goat and Dog, or is having a bad year, do not miss this opportunity to participate in this Jiu Huang Fa Hui.
